FAQ for this video:

Q 1) People (like me) who prefer the AKJV, use the (difficult to understand?) language as an avenue to rewrite the Bible to mean what we want it to.
A What I'm saying is that if you want to manipulate the scripture and make it say what you want it to say, all you have to do is find a translation that is hard to understand to begin with, and then you can make it say anything you want it to.

Q 2) Drinking alcohol is a sin.
A Drinking "Strong Drink" is a sin.

Q 3) Being Fat is a sin (and can be rebuked, just like Acne).
A Being Fat is a sin if it's as a result of not obeying God, He said everything in moderation. Disobedience is a sin. Acne isn't a sin, but it is an affliction and can be caused by sin. Any symptom can be caused by sin. Sickness, disease, and other things can be caused by sin. Wrath comes bundled and packaged in sin. I wasn't saying in this video that being Fat was a sin, I was saying it was caused by sin.

Q 4) It is God's will for us all to live in Divine Health and have every spiritual gift and wealth and providence and blessings and you can achieve that by asking God to overcome the things in your life that are blocking those blessings. (I'm sorry has anyone ever read Job?)
A Everyone has a Job experience sooner or later, when you are getting things you haven't earned as far as wrath, but all sickness originated with the original sin. There would be no sickness or death if Adam wouldn't have sinned. There are consequences for our actions, and those consequences come bundled with sin. So if we see sickness in our lives, we should ask God and look for mistakes we might have made. I'd say 75% of the time in "MY" life if I'm sick there is something I've done wrong, and God is getting my attention.

Q 5) A lot of "Thou shalt not kill" references that some study would reveal as "ratsach" and "phonenō" which clearly mean murder...
A What is the difference between killing someone and murdering them?

Q 6) We are living in heaven now if we want to be.
A Ya, if you want to, you can live in the kingdom of Heaven now.

Songs:

Church Punks - Audio Adrenaline Lyrics

Forget the politics and all the hypocrites
You know the body's sick from religion, indecision, mediocrity

You think you're too young
You say you're too dumb
Wait 'til tomorrow comes
But today is the day you've got to show the way

[chorus]
I say hey, now, now - we're callin' you out
Never back down - no fear, no doubt
Hey now, now - you can show us how
You better get up 'cause we're callin' all church punks

This is a call for a truth rebellion
To all the people who hear, this is a call
To make a stand, throw your fists up in the air
(yeah) make up your mind - now is the time

[chorus]

Petra Chameleon Lyrics

You want the best of both worlds
You're not getting either
You seem content to ride the fence
When you know which side is greener
Some run hot, some run cold
Some run from their maker
Some run the risk of losing out
With lukewarm friends and fakers

Chameleon
You blend with your surroundings
Chameleon
No one knows where you come from
Chameleon
You change with every situation
Compromising dedication

You compromise each word you say so innoffensively
You only want to hide behind your anonymity
You struggle for acceptance
And it takes you to extremes
The smile you hide your face behind
Is not all that it seems

Chameleon
You blend with your surroundings
Chameleon
No one knows where you come from
Chameleon
You change with every situation
Compromising dedication

Come out, come out
Come out from among them
Come out, come out
Come out and be free

There is no gray, no neutral ground
There's only black and white
And nothing in between the two
To turn a wrong into right
There is no time for your charade
You've got to make your stand
When salt has lost it's savor
The world becomes so bland

Chameleon
You blend with your surroundings
Chameleon
No one knows where you come from
Chameleon
You change with every situation
Compromising dedication
Chameleon
You blend with your surroundings
Chameleon
No one knows where you come from
Chameleon
You change with every situation
Compromising dedication

Socially Acceptable DC Talk Lyrics

Whatcha thinking, doing the things you do
Whose opinion are ya listening to?
Justifying, you turn it all to gray,
Synchronizing to society's ways.

Society has gotten to be all outta whack,
Don't bother with excuses whether white or black.
To blame it on a color won't get a result
Because history reveals to me how ethics were lost.
In reality our decency has taken a plunge,
"In God We Trust" is an American pun,
Funny how it happened so suddenly, yo fellas, kick the melody...

Socially acceptable, it's okay, it's alright
Socially acceptable, it's okay, in whose sight
Socially acceptable

Times are changing, with morals in decay,
Human rights have made the wrongs okay.
Something's missing, and if you're asking me,
I think that something is the G- O- D.
To label wrong or right by the people's sight,
Is like going to a loser to ask advice.
And by basing your plans on another man's way of living life
I is creating a brand of ethics sure to be missing the punch,
No count morals that are out to lunch.
They're sliding away 'cause everything is okay,
It was taboo back then but today we say, "What the hey."

Socially acceptable, it's okay, it's alright
Socially acceptable, it's okay, in whose sight
Socially acceptable

We gotta back to the principles found in the Word,
A little G-O-D could be society's cure
From the state that we're in 'cause again we're slipping,
So pray for America cause time is ticking.

People say not to over-Spiritualize things or people might think you are strange. Some say not to take Jesus Literally. They say His words are tricky. I say He's the Truth and Light.

Jesus Freak DC Talk Lyrics

Separated, I cut myself clean
From a past that comes back in my darkest of dreams
Been apprehended by a spiritual force
And a grace that replaced all the me I've divorced
I saw a man with tat on his big fat belly
It wiggled around like marmalade jelly
It took me a while to catch what it said
Cause I had to match the rhythm
Of his belly with my head
'Jesus Saves' is what it raved in a typical tattoo green
He stood on a box in the middle of the city
And claimed he had a dream
(chorus)
What will people think
When they hear that I'm a Jesus freak
What will people do when they find that it's true
I don't really care if they label me a Jesus freak
There ain't no disguising the truth
Kamikaze, my death is gain
I've been marked by my Maker
A peculiar display
The high and lofty, they see me as weak
Cause I won't live and die for the power they seek
There was a man from the desert with naps in his head
The sand that he walked was also his bed
The words that he spoke made the people assume
There wasn't too much left in the upper room
With skins on his back and hair on his face
They thought he was strange by the locusts he ate
The Pharisees tripped when they heard him speak
Until the king took the head of this Jesus freak
(repeat chorus 2x)
People say I'm strange, does it make me a stranger
That my best friend was born in a manger
People say I'm strange, does it make me a stranger
That my best friend was born in a manger
(repeat chorus 2x)
What will people think
[What will people think]
What will people do
[What will people do]
I don't really care
[What else can I say]
There ain't no disguising the truth
[Jesus is the way]

Not Of This World – Petra Lyrics

We are pilgrims in a strange land
We are so far from our homeland
With each passing day it seems so clear
This world will never want us here
We're not welcome in this world of wrong
We are foreigners who don't belong

(Chorus)
We are strangers, we are aliens
We are not of this world

We are envoys, we must tarry
With this message we must carry
There's so much to do before we leave
With so many more who may believe
Our mission here can never fail
And the gates of hell will not prevail

Jesus told us men would hate us
But we must be of good cheer
He has overcome this world of darkness
And soon we will depart from here

Light The Fire Again - Brian Doerksen - Lyrics

Don't let our love grow cold
Cause I'm calling out
Light the fire again
Don't let our vision die
I'm calling out
Light the fire again

You know my heart, my deeds
I'm calling out
Light the fire again
I need Your discipline
I'm calling out
Light the fire again

I am here to buy gold
Refined in the fire
Naked and poor
Wretched and blind I come
Clothe me in white
So I won't be ashamed
Lord, light the fire again

Missing Person Michael W smith - Lyrics

1st Verse:
Another question in me
One for the powers that be
It's got me thrown
And so I put on my poker face
And try to figure it out
This undeniable doubt
A common occurrence
Feeling so out of place
Guarded and cynical now
Can't help but wondering how
My heart evolved into
The rock beating inside of me
So I reel such a stoic ordeal
Where's that feeling that I don't feel

Chorus:
There was a boy who had the faith to move a mountain
And like a child he would believe without a reason
Without a trace he disappeared into the void and
I've been searching for that missing person

2nd verse:
Under a lavender moon
So many thoughts consume me
Who dimmed that glowing light
That once burned so bright in me
Is this a radical phase
A problematical age
That keeps me running
From all that I used to be
Is there a way to return
Is there a way to unlearn
That carnal knowledge
That's chipping away at my soul
Have I been gone too long
Will I ever find my way home

Chorus:
There was a boy who had the faith to move a mountain
And like a child he would believe without a reason
Without a trace he disappeared into the void and
I've been searching for that missing person

He used to want to try to walk the straight and narrow
He had a fire and he could feel it in the marrow
It's been a long time and I haven't seen him lately, though
I've been searching for that missing person

Bridge:
For that missing person
For that missing person

Oh oh, oh oh,

Chorus:
There was a boy who had the faith to move a mountain
And like a child he would believe without a reason
Without a trace he disappeared into the void and
I've been searching...

He used to want to try to walk the straight and narrow
He had a fire and he could feel it in the marrow
It's been a long time and I haven't seen him lately, though
I've been searching for that missing person

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

Where are you?
Where are you... (fades to close)

Receiving God's Promises

How is it that we can doubt what God has done, what He has said, His promises, and the Call on our lives, because a majority decides to reject it? How can we get deceived so easily and discouraged? Sounds like I have another episode for OSCC.

Moses lead the Israelites threw the desert, from Egypt where they were slaves, to the Promised Land, God had promised them, after doing many signs and miracles for them, parting the read sea, providing for them, and traveling with them. So now Moses is sending 12 spies into the promised land that God promised them, to see what they are up against, so they can take the Land God promised them.

“Numbers 13 1-3, 17-33
Exploring Canaan
1 The LORD said to Moses, 2 “Send some men to explore the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites. From each ancestral tribe send one of its leaders.”
3 So at the LORD’s command Moses sent them out from the Desert of Paran. All of them were leaders of the Israelites.
17 When Moses sent them to explore Canaan, he said, “Go up through the Negev and on into the hill country. 18 See what the land is like and whether the people who live there are strong or weak, few or many. 19 What kind of land do they live in? Is it good or bad? What kind of towns do they live in? Are they unwalled or fortified? 20 How is the soil? Is it fertile or poor? Are there trees in it or not? Do your best to bring back some of the fruit of the land.” (It was the season for the first ripe grapes.)
21 So they went up and explored the land from the Desert of Zin as far as Rehob, toward Lebo Hamath. 22 They went up through the Negev and came to Hebron, where Ahiman, Sheshai and Talmai, the descendants of Anak, lived. (Hebron had been built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.) 23 When they reached the Valley of Eshkol, they cut off a branch bearing a single cluster of grapes. Two of them carried it on a pole between them, along with some pomegranates and figs. 24 That place was called the Valley of Eshkol because of the cluster of grapes the Israelites cut off there. 25 At the end of forty days they returned from exploring the land.
Report on the Exploration
26 They came back to Moses and Aaron and the whole Israelite community at Kadesh in the Desert of Paran. There they reported to them and to the whole assembly and showed them the fruit of the land. 27 They gave Moses this account: “We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. 28 But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there. 29 The Amalekites live in the Negev; the Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live near the sea and along the Jordan.”
30 Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”
31 But the men who had gone up with him said, “We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.” 32 And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. 33 We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.”

“Numbers 14
The People Rebel
1 That night all the members of the community raised their voices and wept aloud. 2 All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole assembly said to them, “If only we had died in Egypt! Or in this wilderness! 3 Why is the LORD bringing us to this land only to let us fall by the sword? Our wives and children will be taken as plunder. Wouldn’t it be better for us to go back to Egypt?” 4 And they said to each other, “We should choose a leader and go back to Egypt.”
5 Then Moses and Aaron fell facedown in front of the whole Israelite assembly gathered there. 6 Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had explored the land, tore their clothes 7 and said to the entire Israelite assembly, “The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. 8 If the LORD is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. 9 Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them.”
10 But the whole assembly talked about stoning them. Then the glory of the LORD appeared at the tent of meeting to all the Israelites. 11 The LORD said to Moses, “How long will these people treat me with contempt? How long will they refuse to believe in me, in spite of all the signs I have performed among them? 12 I will strike them down with a plague and destroy them, but I will make you into a nation greater and stronger than they.”
13 Moses said to the LORD, “Then the Egyptians will hear about it! By your power you brought these people up from among them. 14 And they will tell the inhabitants of this land about it. They have already heard that you, LORD, are with these people and that you, LORD, have been seen face to face, that your cloud stays over them, and that you go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. 15 If you put all these people to death, leaving none alive, the nations who have heard this report about you will say, 16 ‘The LORD was not able to bring these people into the land he promised them on oath, so he slaughtered them in the wilderness.’
17 “Now may the Lord’s strength be displayed, just as you have declared: 18 ‘The LORD is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.’ 19 In accordance with your great love, forgive the sin of these people, just as you have pardoned them from the time they left Egypt until now.”
20 The LORD replied, “I have forgiven them, as you asked. 21 Nevertheless, as surely as I live and as surely as the glory of the LORD fills the whole earth, 22 not one of those who saw my glory and the signs I performed in Egypt and in the wilderness but who disobeyed me and tested me ten times— 23 not one of them will ever see the land I promised on oath to their ancestors. No one who has treated me with contempt will ever see it. 24 But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it. 25 Since the Amalekites and the Canaanites are living in the valleys, turn back tomorrow and set out toward the desert along the route to the Red Sea.”
26 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron: 27 “How long will this wicked community grumble against me? I have heard the complaints of these grumbling Israelites. 28 So tell them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the LORD, I will do to you the very thing I heard you say: 29 In this wilderness your bodies will fall—every one of you twenty years old or more who was counted in the census and who has grumbled against me. 30 Not one of you will enter the land I swore with uplifted hand to make your home, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun. 31 As for your children that you said would be taken as plunder, I will bring them in to enjoy the land you have rejected. 32 But as for you, your bodies will fall in this wilderness. 33Your children will be shepherds here for forty years, suffering for your unfaithfulness, until the last of your bodies lies in the wilderness. 34 For forty years—one year for each of the forty days you explored the land—you will suffer for your sins and know what it is like to have me against you.’ 35 I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will surely do these things to this whole wicked community, which has banded together against me. They will meet their end in this wilderness; here they will die.”
36 So the men Moses had sent to explore the land, who returned and made the whole community grumble against him by spreading a bad report about it— 37 these men who were responsible for spreading the bad report about the land were struck down and died of a plague before the LORD. 38 Of the men who went to explore the land, only Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh survived.
39 When Moses reported this to all the Israelites, they mourned bitterly. 40 Early the next morning they set out for the highest point in the hill country, saying, “Now we are ready to go up to the land the LORD promised. Surely we have sinned!”
41 But Moses said, “Why are you disobeying the LORD’s command? This will not succeed! 42Do not go up, because the LORD is not with you. You will be defeated by your enemies, 43 for the Amalekites and the Canaanites will face you there. Because you have turned away from the LORD, he will not be with you and you will fall by the sword.”
44 Nevertheless, in their presumption they went up toward the highest point in the hill country, though neither Moses nor the ark of the LORD’s covenant moved from the camp. 45Then the Amalekites and the Canaanites who lived in that hill country came down and attacked them and beat them down all the way to Hormah.

So looking back on this,
1. God promises His people, that He will lead them into the promised land and give it to them.
2. He leads them out of Egypt, and preforms many signs and miracles letting the people know He is God, and that He will deliver on His promises.
3. The people get impatient several times in the desert, and feel entitled to getting more from God, and complain to Him for more.
4. Despite the complaints God still provides, and takes care of His people.
5. They reach the Promised Land, and send in 12 spies.
6. 10 of the spies don't trust God to give them the land, because of the enemy occupying the land, and the strongholds there.
7. 2 spies give a good report and trust God to lead them to victory.
8. They cry aloud: “If only we had died in Egypt! Or in this wilderness! 3 Why is the LORD bringing us to this land only to let us fall by the sword? Our wives and children will be taken as plunder. Wouldn’t it be better for us to go back to Egypt?” 4 And they said to each other, “We should choose a leader and go back to Egypt.” Because they did no trust God's promises.
9. The people threatened to kill the leaders God sent them.
10.  When the two spies said “The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. 8 If the LORD is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. 9 Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them.” The people wanted to stone them, for giving a good report and trusting God.
11. God gives Moses the option of starting over, by wiping out all the people who did not obey God but had contempt, and allowing Moses to re-populate the nation, but Moses pleads for the people's forgiveness.
12. God said: 28 So tell them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the LORD, I will do to you the very thing I heard you say: 29 In this wilderness your bodies will fall—every one of you twenty years old or more who was counted in the census and who has grumbled against me. They will meet their end in this wilderness; here they will die.” (because the people asked to either be sent back to Egypt or die in the wilderness)
13. What is Contempt: Contempt is an intensely negative emotion regarding a person or group of people as inferior, base, or worthless—it is similar to scorn. It is also used when people are being sarcastic. Contempt is also defined as the state of being despised or dishonoured; disgrace, and an open disrespect or wilful disobedience of the authority of a court of law or legislative body. So the people thought of God as inferior or worthless; they were despising, dishonouring, and disgracing God, and displaying an open disrespect and wilful disobedience of His Authority.
14. God didn't break His promise, He still allowed the descendants of those who were disobedient to Him to enter the promised land after those who treated Him with contempt finally died.
15. After God told them He would no longer allow them to take the promised land, they still wanted to try to take it.

So the question is how can we as Christians, and non-Christians still not believe, and trust God today. Why do we listen to God's promises, and treat Him with Contempt? What is the consequence of doing such a thing?
Every day I see people who are not enjoying their lives. They try to find fault with everything I do, and say, or seek justification from me for their actions as a Christian. They want me to justify their disobedience to God, so that they can some how ease the guilt they feel inside. Any time someone has a Word from God that is specifically for them, they do not want to hear it. These would be modern day Pharisees.
Often times in the Public School System children will misbehave, and the school will discipline them, and then the children run home to their parents and scream and yell until the parents call the school, and complain about their children being disciplined. When the parents reject the authority of the people at the school who are doing their jobs, it usually results in wearing the public school officials down over time, and eventually they give in, letting the children do what they want to. God doesn't work that way. When we treat God with Contempt and challenge His authority, we have discipline ahead we can not escape, without repenting, asking for forgiveness, and changing our ways.
We have to make the Statement to God “I am wrong” or “I was wrong”, and we have to admit it to ourselves too.
People often blame God for the bad things that happen as a result of their disobedience, however disobedience is sin, and sin is a package that has death, sickness, and punishment in it already. When you accept the package you have to accept or sign for all it's contents. You will get all the pleasures packed inside, along with all the consequences, however the pleasures you think you will get, can be disappointing.

So what are the signs that you are treating God with contempt in your life? What are the things the Israelites did in the desert?

1. You try to figure it out yourself without seeking God, listening to Him or asking Him.
2. You reject God's plan, and or make adjustments to it.
3. You reject people in your life who speak to you on God's behalf.
4. You reject prayer.
5. You don't pray at least once a day.
6. You don't read your Bible even once a week (outside of Church).
7. Every time you hear Christian TV programs, Radio Broadcasts, someone reading the Word of God, or a concerned Christian with constructive criticism you find yourself rejecting it.
8. You assume that when someone opens their mouth, whatever they say will upset you, and you only want them to answer your questions, and never speak their mind, or have an opinion.
9. You believe that only certain parts of your life require seeking God first, and talking to Him, and that there are only certain people you should talk to about God.
10. You believe you are independent of God.

The original sin in Genesis is attempting to become independent of God, and not rely on Him constantly, for everything. Satan's lie was that if we became like God we could be independent of God, when the truth is that to become like God we have to become dependent on the Blood of Jesus, His Spirit, and His Truth the Word of God. Without this dependence on God we are disobedient and in sin. At the tower of Babble, the people tried to build a tower without depending on God, and so He confused them with other languages.
Trying to be independent of God, is the same as thinking you are God, or claiming to be God. I am some times accused of thinking I'm God, because of the miracles God does in my life, however that only happens because I'm dependent on God, and I know where miracles come from. The truth is that the people who make these accusations, do not depend on God, but rather depend on themselves, and their own common sense, making themselves the God of their own lives, and the lives of others around them.
They make themselves God over the lives of others by using their own intellect, and common sense to tell others what to do, without seeking God, and asking Him first.

So to receive God's blessings we need to ask Him to be our God, and be completely dependent on Him and stop challenging His authority, and trust Him all the time, and listen the fellow believers in our lives, who He speaks threw, and if anyone is filled with the Spirit of God, He will speak threw them to you.
Some people refer to Pentecost, and speaking on other tongs, as speaking a different language, however even if you speak the same language, your tung may be different, because it's not the tung driven by your intellect, and common sense, but rather by God who fills your mouth with His words, by the power of the Spirit. If God's words are not in your mouth, who's words are they?

Are You Full of Crap, or Full of Light and Truth ?

Full Of CRAP

Jesus Said:
Matthew 6:   22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

  1. People who were raised Christian can still be full of CRAP.
  2. People who are filled with religious doctrine need to get that CRAP out of their heart and minds in order to allow God to fill them with His revelatory, Spirit inspired, Truth, and Wisdom.
  3. CRAP is darkness, and darkness can not be where light is. Some people don't allow light in certain areas of their life, while others don't allow light into any area of their life.
  4. People who are full of CRAP often contradict themselves, but be ware, those who are consumed with darkness / CRAP can not comprehend the light / Truth, and it can appear that the Truth is contradictory to those who are still living in darkness.
  5. You can not overcome darkness / CRAP by arguing, or using any tolls of the evil one. Instead overcome darkness with light, by rebuking the evil spirits that dwell in the darkness and then those consumed by CRAP can see the light.
  6. When your lying there on your death bed, or when things get really hard in life, you may ask yourself if life is worth living, and if you want to go on or not. If your full of CRAP / darkness / lies / fear, etc. then you will always choose death over life, but if your full of the Spirit, and God's revelation, then you will choose life over death.
  7. If your full of CRAP, then everything coming out of your mouth is CRAP that your trying to get others to believe, and pollute their bodies and minds. If you listen to CRAP long enough, and don't get out of the spill zone, you will start filling up with CRAP and it will replace the truth inside you, to the point that you won't believe the truth any more.
  8. The hypocrisy of putting conditions on unconditional love and forgiveness, that God has extended to you, when your suppose to extend it to others. (Matthew 6:12) “And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” If God tells you to work with someone, trust them, help them, or whatever, and you know you could get burnt, that doesn't mean you shouldn't do what God asks you to do, even if you do end up getting burnt.
  9. Pointing the finger, and getting fed up, and sick with people who are full of CRAP is a sign that you are not extending God's love and forgiveness. There is a time to turn people over to Satan, mentioned by Paul, but that's the last resort.
  10. Being transformed by God, to the point that you loose your old self, become more forgiving, and full of love, and grace; listening to him, following His voice, His Word, and His Spirit, will allow you to be healed of your infirmities, rejection, and other issues in life. Sin has punishment, wrath, and death attached to it, and these negative things don't come from God, they come from sin. If the sin nature is removed, so are the negative things that come along with the sin. You can be free from darkness, death, sickness, and sin, and be filled with life, living waters, and the power and peace of God, by being purified by the fire of the Spirit, by the power of Jesus' blood.

1 John 2:10-11 But if we love others, we are in the light, and we don't cause problems for them. If we hate others, we are living and walking in the dark. We don't know where we are going, because we can't see in the dark. (CEV)

New International Version (NIV)
10 Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble. 11 But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.

John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the Light of all mankind. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (5 And the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. KJV)
6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that Light, so that through him all might believe. 8 He himself was not the Light; he came only as a witness to the light.

9 The true Light that gives Light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He (Who was the Light) was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He (Who Was The Light) came to that which was His (The Light's) own, but His own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

14 The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (His Glory is the light that radiates from Him, and some times it's seen in the form of Mercy, Grace, Love, Power, Authority, and the Fruit of the Spirit)

15 (John testified concerning Him. He cried out, saying, “This is the one I spoke about when I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because He was before me.’”) 16 Out of His fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made Him known.

Want to Know if your full of Light or full of CRAP? It's easy to tell, just find out if you have the fruits of the Spirit in your life:

Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV)

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Listening to this kind of music, can help to saturate you with Light, and help get rid of any CRAP inside you. (Also read the Bible and God's Promises)

Download this episode and listen to it on your iPod or other mp3 player: http://www.mindblowingidea.com/OSCC/OSCCEP10.mp3

Speaking of fire fighters, I can remember one time when I was suppose to pray for a healing miracle in someone's life, and before I could, someone who was sceptical of people praying for healing, got to them and prevented it by putting the fire out, the hunger God stirred up in them.

Episode 9 - Paranormal Ghost Hunting (Dealing With Demons)

If you want to listen to this as a downloadable MP3 click here: http://www.mindblowingidea.com/OSCC/OSCCEP9ParanormalGhostHunting.mp3

I made this video for a friend who is struggling and anyone else out there who struggles with paranormal beings. I would like to make a quick note about a recent encounter I had, that can't be coincidence. There was this man or woman who went by the name Legion, who decided to attack me, and send me tons of detestable images (by God's standards) the like of which I had no idea existed. To be brief the pictures showed snakes coming in and out of women, another picture showed a slug, and another picture showed a vengeful woman who had cut parts off of men and made a necklace that was pierced into her body covering her breasts as a covering. When I saw the symbolism of the serpent and the name Legion I knew it was demonic. One thing I'm pretty sure of is that demons never die, or depart the earth for good. When we rebuke them, they always seem to show up in another person's life who has let them in, let their guard down, or they may come back to you later to knock and see if they can get in again (if the door is open). You always have to be on your guard, and you can't dismiss anything as not being influenced by supernatural spirits. I often hear people tell me I shouldn't spiritualise everything. The fact is that everything physical is affected by the Spiritual 24/7. Paying attention only to the physical world, what we see, hear, taste, and touch, is like only dealing with symptoms of a cold and ignoring the invisible viruses and bacteria at work in the body. If we pay more attention or just as much attention to the cause of the symptoms we can get somewhere, but if we continue living life as if everything were normal and only treat the symptoms of a sick patient, the patient will probably be sick a long time or die from the sickness, and no matter how much we try to treat the symptoms without treating the cause, the symptoms will get worse and over power the drugs we use to stop the symptoms.

24 “Truly I tell you,” he continued, “no prophet is accepted in his hometown. 25 I assure you that there were many widows in Israel in Elijah’s time, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and there was a severe famine throughout the land. 26 Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon. 27 And there were many in Israel with leprosy[g] in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed—only Naaman the Syrian.”
28 All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this. 29 They got up, drove him out of the town, and took him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw him off the cliff. 30 But he walked right through the crowd and went on his way.

Episode 7 - Killing My Old Man

If you want audio only click here: http://www.mindblowingidea.com/OSCC/OSCCEP7-KillingMyOldMan.mp3
Episode 7 - Killing My Old Man / How To Sin No More Romans 6

What really gets me about the old nature (seen as the angels with black wings in the Some Kind Of Zombie video below) is that people with the old nature inside them are attracted to pain. They think they enjoy harmful situations, substances, and influences. Eventually they can get so lost that they think that these harmful things are good for them.

    Being Dead To Sin.

    Lyrics

I must have been confused or vain
to let this evil in my brain.
Lord did I enjoy the change
that you made inside my heart?
    Oh here they come
    I'm not afraid
    there's no temptation I can't evade.
    Stand up straight
    look through the haze
I begin to walk through the maze
    here they come
    they're all up on me
but I'm dead to sin like
    some kind of zombie.
I hear you speak and I obey
    some kind of zombie
I walked away from the grave
    some kind of zombie
    I will never be afraid
    some kind of zombie
    I gave my life away.
    I'm obliged and obey
I'm enslaved to what you say.

    Killing My Old Man

Killing My Old Man - Lyrics

I think its gone far enough
    I can't take it anymore
I've got to even up the score
Before he sweeps me off the floor

I've really got to find a way
Of taking care of him for good
I know he'd kill me if he could
So I'll nail him to the wood

    (Chorus)
    Killing my old man
    You may not understand
    He's a terrible man
    Got to make a stand
    And kill the old man

    (Bridge)
Every time that I think he's gone and I've finally won
He just keeps coming back, puts me on the run

I think I'd better do it now
Get my hammer and a nail
Pray to God I that I won't fail
Lest he'll keep me in the jail
And I don't wanna stay in jail!

Just For Fun! The Old Man is in the recipe for disaster!

You have to add your bearded man right at the beginning, because he's the foundation for disaster. If you just throw the trouble in first without the miscommunication and the old man someone with a good idea will avert the disaster. Good point! The Old man has to be ripe (diseased and really old and stinky)

"A Welcome To Eternal Mansions," in a series of messages "Living Generously"

See More from Greg Bye: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL62E3004A46EA59CB

    IDENTITY IN CHRIST
Romans 6:11 "So consider yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Jesus Christ."
WHO AM I IN CHRIST? I AM DEAD TO SIN'S POWER, AND ALIVE IN JESUS CHRIST.
    Read Luke 16:1-15
TODAY'S MESSAGE: "A Welcome to Eternal Mansions"
Think about it. The money we have is not our own. All we have belongs to God. We are managers of the resources and wealth and time He's given us--unworthy managers to be sure. We all offend God and use resources poorly at times, sometimes cheating Him. Yet, God is saying to us unworthy managers of His, be generous! Live generously with your money! Give generously of yourself! According to Jesus our generosity on earth has eternal value.

Are you a stingy or generous person?

What is preventing you from living in the freedom of generosity?

Do you know any religious hypocrites? How do you treat them (generously)?

Seeking God – But Are You Listening?

Often times we find ourselves seeking God's revelation, His direction, His Truth, ect. Some times it's just because a Pastor or someone else tells us we should and we don't want them to think that we wouldn't seek God so we say a prayer with idol words or put a half baked effort into it. Some times we are use to hearing from God in one way and we choose to stick to that. For some hearing from God can be threw reading Scripture, hearing directly from the Spirit, observing creation, or any number of other ways. The trouble is that we become accustomed to relating with God in one way, when God says He wants to bless us with every Spiritual gift, although He also says no man will have every spiritual gift. To hear from God the Holy Spirit must be involved; that is to say that you have to have received the Holy Spirit into your heart (I believe after you have went threw baptism, or if receiving the Holy Spirit prior to baptism you should be baptised shortly after as they did in the Bible.)

I've found in my life that God likes to use me as a mouth peace one on one with other people who need a word, or who are having trouble understanding God or His scripture. I also have found that some times God tells me to stand out of the way and let someone else do it that He has picked instead of me. In that case I'm just the person who introduces them to someone else.

Now here is what is really strange. I want you to ask yourself this question. If God were to come down from Heaven today in physical form would you listen to Him? Even if you couldn't tell if it was God but knew the words were from God would you listen to Him? Well the Bible says we are Jesus to the world and to each other. As brothers and sisters of Jesus and sons and daughters of the Father God (Matthew 23) we are part of the body of Christ. We are all used differently by God but we all work together threw the direction and unity of the Holy Spirit. Some are primarily prophets, some are primarily wise men, some are teachers, etc. Keep in mind Jesus said that God is the only teacher, wise man, counsellor, etc. Because He is the source of all truth and we are only the vessels He uses to speak and or act threw. So you may have answered yes to saying you would in fact listen to God if He was speaking to you or if you knew that you were listening to His words. Here is where the rubber meets the road.

So God decides that to be more effective at speaking to you, He is going to send a brother or sister in Christ to speak to you on His behalf to reveal to you threw the Spirit what He has already revealed to the person He has sent you or is revealing to the person He has sent you. What a blessing? Well I've often had people tell me that they know I've been sent to them by God to give them advice, speak to them, etc. When asked what changed about me and why people should listen to me now one man said: “Justin hasn't changed, what changed is the fact that I learned that I should listen to him.” and right before saying this he refused to pray for someone that the Lord lead to me asking for prayer. Another individual told me that when they met me they knew that God had sent me to them so they could listen to me and so I could guide them, yet they told me not to give them any advice or quote scriptures to them or give them scriptures. This might not seem strange to some of you, but is seems very strange to me. I've always been open to any word anyone has given me no matter how crazy they are or how crazy they sound, because I know God can speak threw anyone to me. I usually can tell if it's from God or not by listening to the Spirit, seeing if it clashes with the scriptures, if it does the Spirit will bring the scripture to my attention, or speak to me threw someone or something else about it. If the Spirit really wants me to hear it and take it seriously then the Spirit will repeat itself threw many different people, just as God repeated Himself in the Bible to give extra emphasis to certain parts. Some times the word someone gives me is subject to human error threw interpretation and I can usually see that too (threw the Spirit). Meaning that if the Spirit tells someone something and they don't understand it right and they tell me, I can usually understand what the Spirit was trying to tell them to tell me. Now of course I always tell people to ask God about what I tell them when I tell them something, but not listening or rejecting the one who comes in the name of the Lord is a bad thing. Jesus said that it would be easier for the people of Sodom and Gomorrah to enter Heaven then for the people who rejected the message from those He sent with His word.

Jesus told the people He sent out that if the people rejected the word He sent them with that they were to shake the dust from their sandals, and take the peace back with them that they had blessed the people with. Now if God sends you to someone and tells you to be patient with them, and not to give up, but to wait it out, then what do you do? In this situation I've tried shaking the dust from my sandals and taking my peace back and leaving, but God won't let me and tells me it's wrong. 19 out of 20 times God tells me to shake my feet of and run, but in a recent case He has told me not to run, but just stand back and wait for them to come back and talk to me again. This is very frustrating.

This was a problem for the followers of Jesus in Jesus' time and shortly after, and in Matthew 23 Jesus says that we are only to have God as our leader, teacher, Rabbi, etc. however He said He would send prophets, wise men, and teachers to the religious people who reject His word, the stiff necked. So maybe that's something to think about. If God has put someone in your life who He is using to speak to you, then maybe you are stiff necked, and you have a problem accepting His direction and guidance without Him sending you a prophet, wise man, or leader.

Jesus said He would not return until the Pharisees said “Blessed is the man who comes in the name of the Lord”.
